Arxax and Del Col Join Forces for Smart Refueling in the Heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia

Arxax, an innovative tech company specializing in payment solutions and road transport decarbonization, and Del Col, a long-established service station in Fiume Veneto (PN), strategically located along the A28 motorway, today announce a partnership aimed at bringing Arxax’s smart refueling solution to one of the most important logistics hubs in northeastern Italy.
The agreement includes the integration of the Arxax Pay payment system at the Del Col service station, offering commercial vehicle fleets a cashless and cardless refueling experience at a service area that, for over fifty years, has been a key point of reference for drivers traveling between Pordenone, Portogruaro, and the Eastern Alps.
What Makes Del Col Unique
A 52-year family history: it all began in 1968, when Gigliante Del Col took over the Esso service station in Praturlone. With the opening of the A28 in the early 1970s, the service area grew alongside the increasing traffic, culminating in a complete reconstruction in 1985.
Today, Del Col operates six petrol pumps, eight diesel pumps, six special diesel pumps, and two LPG pumps. These are complemented by a bar serving quick meals and a 24/7 automatic car wash, as well as oil changes, tire inflation, aerial work platform rentals, and the sale of accessories.
This combination of decades of experience, a comprehensive range of fuels, and a full suite of services makes Del Col a natural partner for the Arxax refueling network.
“We are delighted to welcome Del Col to our network,” said Elham Hassanzadeh, CEO of Arxax. “A company with more than fifty years of history and a strong direct relationship with drivers: this combination of local roots and reliability is exactly what we want to offer those who use Arxax Pay every day.”
“With Arxax Pay, we are giving both private customers and fleets a simple, digital way to refuel at our station,” said a Del Col spokesperson. “For a service station like ours, which was founded and has grown alongside the local community, this is a natural step toward the future without losing what has always set us apart: being close to the people who stop here.”
The project confirms Arxax’s commitment to building a strategic, digitalized refueling network capable of combining local tradition with technological innovation along the main logistics routes.
