Arxax, an innovative company specializing in payment solutions and the decarbonization of road transport, and B-petrol, a leader in Italy in the distribution of LNG and cold-charged natural gas, today announced a strategic partnership to strengthen the Arxax smart refueling network dedicated to heavy-duty and last-mile transport.
The agreement includes the integration of the Arxax Pay digital payment system with B-petrol stations, offering commercial vehicle fleets a cashless and cardless refueling experience at strategic locations along the main logistics routes of Northern Italy.
B-petrol's unique selling point
B-petrol is not a traditional distributor: in addition to gasoline, diesel, and LPG, it is one of the main national operators in the distribution of LNG (liquefied natural gas) and cold-charged natural gas, the fuels that currently represent the most practical alternative to diesel for long-distance heavy-duty transport. With a constantly expanding network, well-positioned along the A4 motorway and in the Northeast, B-petrol offers truckers the ability to travel along major logistics routes while significantly reducing emissions. This commitment to natural gas makes B-petrol an ideal partner for Arxax's smart, energy transition-focused refueling network.
"We are proud to welcome B-petrol to our partner network," said Elham Hassanzadeh, CEO of Arxax. "Their leadership in LNG and natural gas distribution aligns perfectly with our mission: to make refueling more efficient, transparent, and sustainable for Italian transport companies. Together, we are giving fleets the tools to decarbonize without sacrificing operations."
"Our goal has always been to make fueling more efficient for those who travel on the road every day. With Arxax, we're taking a step forward: we're combining our stations with cashless and cardless payment technology that eliminates friction and downtime. It's the natural combination of our lower-impact fuels and a digitally native fueling experience," said Nicola Bonato, Amministratore - MD B-petrol.
Through this collaboration, Arxax and B-petrol will provide transport companies with concrete tools to reduce fueling times, monitor consumption and emissions in real time, and accelerate the transition to lower-impact fuels.
