Arxax, an innovative company specializing in digital solutions for fuel payment and decarbonization of road transport, and Tamoil Italia, a leading company in fuel distribution and energy solutions with over 1,500 service stations, today announce a strategic partnership to develop a smart green refueling network on a national scale.
The agreement foresees the integration of Arxax’s smart payment system with Tamoil’s infrastructure and operational know-how, allowing vehicle fleets to purchase fuel at Tamoil stations in a cashless and cardless manner thanks to Arxax’s exclusive proprietary technology.
Transport companies will also have access to low-emission alternative fuels, such as HVO, at strategically located Tamoil stations, while being able to monitor the environmental impact of their refueling in real time.
The joint goal is to increase fleet logistics efficiency, reduce CO₂ emissions, and support companies in transitioning to sustainable, traceable, and certified mobility.
“The partnership with Tamoil represents a decisive step in expanding our network nationwide,” said Elham Hassanzadeh, CEO of Arxax. “Working with an operator of this scale allows us to make advanced digital solutions accessible to a much larger number of Italian and cross-border fleets, promoting more efficient and sustainable transport along the country’s main routes.”
“Innovation and sustainability are at the core of our development strategy,” commented Bruno Tintori, Retail Technical Services Manager at Tamoil Italia. “Tamoil Italia provides tools at its stations to optimize payment and refueling processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce environmental impact, reinforcing our commitment to more sustainable mobility across Italy. We are pleased to share these tools and opportunities with our partners, as demonstrated by our collaboration with Arxax.”
Through this partnership, Arxax and Tamoil lay the foundation for a new generation of smart and traceable infrastructures, capable of serving fleets efficiently, sustainably, and at scale. The collaboration represents a concrete step towards building a greener, modern, and digitally connected national refueling network.
